Lena

After graduating from the Antwerp academy Lena tried to earn her life as a costume designer for theatre and film. Moved to Kortrijk to settle down… Only for a short while. She's a globe-trotter but Lena comes all the way from God’s forsaken prairies of central Russia. The “settling down” is a charged term. Though, she soon moved to Brussels, did visual merchandising at COS (while it was all woody and cosy back at rue Neuve). Lena grew with time and did very different things. As an amateur she wrotes music reviews, organised gigs in her apartment in Antwerp and hosted a bunch of punk bands at her place in Kortrijk. As a writer Lena participated in Diane Pernet’s blog, published a fashion fanzine and even tried herself in site-specific installation art. Lena has been blogging for many years too. She launched one of the first Belgian fashion blogs: origamimonami.blogspot.comActually she has another blog and Lena works in one of the most famous shops in the Dansaert street called Stijl.

Stephen Fasano - The Magician

Stephen Fasano felt in love with djing by seeing his uncle at work. When he stopped, he gave him his equipment and his record collection. It was around 1988 when the New Beat clashed in Belgium. At that time he started making mixtapes for friends un
til he was given the chance to play with a real audience... His first steps into production came much later, around 2003. He was also 50% of Aeroplane until 2010, when they splitted up. His new project "The Magician" is on its way since summer 2010.

Stepen's childhood was bathed in the 80's. Michael Jackson "Thriller" or Supert
ramp "Breakfast in America" were on heavy rotation in his car and at home. Later, he rediscovered the 80's flavor with different groups or artists more uplifting like New Order, Depeche Mode, Brian Eno, Casco, Giorgio Moroder, Kano, Human League... But also the beginning of House Music in Chicago.
